January 16: Sharing Our Stuff

Hello families,

All this month, our preschool kiddos are learning about Jesus the storyteller. A great storyteller can pull you in and make you forget everything else that is going on around you. They make you feel empathy and conviction for things that really matter. Life lessons are revealed with each word, and you walk away wanting to change and just be a better human. Jesus is that kind of storyteller.

We have in-person worship (register in advance) and our online broadcast today. You can watch this week's episodes of Kids Worship on-demand (or watch via YouTube).

Love,
Miss Elisa

This week’s preschool episode

  • All month, our preschoolers are learning with Miss Elisa that Jesus teaches us important things.

  • Today we get to hear the story of bigger barns (Acts 2:45, Luke 12:16-21)... and focus on how Jesus teaches us that we can share our stuff.

  • Practice our preschool memory verse: The crowds were amazed at his teaching (Matthew 7:28).

This week’s Elementary Episode

  • This month, our elementary kiddos are exploring with Miss Elisa that self-control is choosing to do what you should even when you don’t want to.

  • Today's story is all about David sparing Saul’s life (1 Samuel 24) and that we don’t have to be controlled by our anger.

  • Practice our elementary memory verse: God’s power has given us everything we need to lead a godly life (2 Peter 1:3).

This week’s So and So episode

  • Every week, you can watch The So and So Show on-demand. It's a great way to revisit the elementary story and life application from Kids Worship during the middle of your week as a family.

  • In this week's episode: John, Brandon, Stephen, and Kellen explore the key question: What makes you angry?
