November 28: Contentment and Gratitude

Kids Worship for November 28, 2021

Hello families,

Hope you had a wonderful holiday this week. Today we wrap-up our series on contentment and gratitude. You're invited to join us in-person or on-demand(or on YouTube). Here are a few quick reminders:

Love,
Miss Elisa

This week’s preschool episode

  • All month, our preschoolers are learning with Miss Elisa that we can thank God for everything.

  • Today we get to hear the story of Elisha's Room (2 Kings 4:8-17)... and focus on how we can thank God for people who help us.

  • Practice our preschool memory verse: I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart. (Psalm 111:1)

This week’s Elementary Episode

  • This month, our elementary kiddos are exploring with Miss Elisa that contentment is learning to be okay with what we have.

  • Today's story is all about giving freely to the Lord's people (2 Corinthians 8:1-5) and learning that we can always use what we have to help someone else.

  • Practice our elementary memory verse: Then He said, "Watch out! Be on your guard against wanting to have more and more things. Life is not made up of how much a person has." (Luke 12:15)

This week’s So and So episode

  • Every week, you can watch The So and So Show on-demand. It's a great way to revisit the elementary story and life application from Kids Worship during the middle of your week as a family.

  • In this week's episode: John, Brandon, Stephen, and Kellen explore the key question: How can you use what you have to help others?
