Winter Coat Drive

We are excited to be partnering with our friends at Roots Cafe and Park Slope Parents to collect winter coats for our neighbors at the Shirley Chisholm and Rosa Parks Family Residences. There were so many beautiful examples of people getting involved last year and we are excited to serve even more of our neighbors this time around.

All donations should be dropped off by Sunday, November 21, 2021.

Ways to Help

  1. Donate a warm coat.
We want to honor the recipients by only giving clean, really high quality items. New or gently used coats for children are needed as well as new hats, gloves, mittens, and scarves for women and children.

  2. Volunteer to help sort or deliver.
We will be sorting coats at The Old Stone House after church on Sunday, November 21 and then delivering them shortly thereafter. Contact Josh to sign-up.

  3. Spread the word.
We need help getting the word out about this! Tell your neighbors and your friends, get your workplace to join together and buy some coats, post about the drive on social media! Contact Patricia if you have other ideas to help spread the word.
