you’re invited

This course is designed for couples who are seeking to strengthen their relationship. Some couples participate to intentionally invest in their marriage, while others are looking to address more specific challenges. Either way, you will learn about essential tools and practical ideas to help you build a relationship that lasts a lifetime.

The Marriage Course is based on Christian principles but designed for all couples with or without a church background.

“Lockdown has not been easy for many marriages… Having to sit down and properly talk about things is certainly a game-changer, especially at the moment.” —Lucy Denyer, The Telegraph

what to expect

During each two-hour online session, plan to make this a cozy date night at home. Schedule to finish work early, get the kids off to bed, turn off your phone, and invest in some quality time for just you and your partner.

We recommend you prepare some food, wine or refreshments, and something sweet to enjoy as you participate online. We will dive into a practical video talk and devoted time each week for a private discussion between you and your partner.

You never share anything about your relationship with anyone other than your partner. We will mute everyone’s Zoom calls so you can chat in complete privacy. We’ll also have music playing during those conversations.

About the Course

The Marriage Course was originally developed in 1996 by Nicky and Sila Lee for couples who are married or in a long-term relationship seeking practical support to strengthen their relationship, keep the spark alive and stay connected.

In 2019, The Marriage Course was reimagined for a modern audience, addressing age-old challenges that couples face. But there’s also new content that explores more recent relationship issues, such as managing screen time and the challenges of online pornography.

Each episode also features insights from renowned experts and couples from around the world reflecting a diverse range of backgrounds, ages, and lengths of relationship who honestly and openly share their stories.

Over seven sessions, the course covers: Strengthening Connection, The Art of Communication, Resolving Conflict, The Power of Forgiveness, The Impact of Family, Good Sex and Love in Action.
