easter Sunday

Sunday 21 April — 9am and 11am services
Middle School 51 — 350 5th Avenue at 4th Street

Celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the redemption of the world with two back-to-back services (9am and 11am) including worship, teaching, communion, and prayer. Full childcare program available at both services for Babies—Grade 5. Coffee and treats served all morning. All are welcome!

sunrise service

Sunday 21 April — 6–7am
Prospect Park Long Meadow — 9th Street and Prospect Park West

Spend an early morning in the park as we celebrate with the risen savior, Jesus Christ. This will be a time of prayer, singing, and readings. Please meet at the 9th Street Entrance, then we will proceed onto the Long Meadow near the ballfields. After the service, join your friends for breakfast before heading to church!

Easter egg hunt

Saturday 20 April — 11:30am–1:30pm
Prospect Park Bandshell — 141 Prospect Park West at 9th Street

How many will you find? Join your neighbors and friends at our 7th Annual Easter Egg Hunt, complete with a massive egg hunt, games, crafts, and music for kids of all ages. This celebration is free of charge and open to the public. All are welcome!

Friday 19 April — 6:30–7:30pm
Greenwood Baptist Church — 461 6th Street at 7th Avenue

Join us for a meditative evening of prayer, scripture readings, solemn music, and moments of silent confession and contemplation as we reflect together on Jesus' sacrifice through His crucifixion and death. Childcare available for Babies—Pre-K. Older children can participate with their parents.

Maundy Thursday (or “commandment” from the Latin mandatum) refers to new commandment Jesus gave his disciples at the Last Supper. We invite you to open your home to share a meal with your friends, family, or life group and participate in a table liturgy with foot washing and communion.

Palm Sunday

Celebrate the start of Holy Week as we commemorate the triumphal and peaceful entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem. Our service includes worship, teaching, communion, and prayer. Full childcare program available for Babies—Grade 5. All are welcome!
